The book has a little fading around the edges of the cover. The dust jacket has some edgewear and a little chipping. The jacket is also price-clipped. On the ffep, there is an inscription from the author to Nardia Sowell with a date of 1971 and this is followed by a note from a former owner to the new owner with a signature of a former owner and a date of 1978. This is the story of two acting families in the 19th century.
