There was some water damage which attached the dust jacket to the book at the back cover. There is also a brown stain in the margins of the last 100 pages, but it does not affect readability. The dust jacket is also a little chipped, but the colors on the front of the jacket are bright and vibrant. This is the story of Big Sam Dabney and Street's first work of historical fiction.
